Built-In Kitchen Bench

This project was done for a customer in need of more seat space in their "breakfast nook". They wanted storage as well as a durable seat for larger family members. We built this bench out of durable 3/4" maple plywood, self-supporting seat lid struts, quality piano hinges - all with an emphasis on the client's seat depth/height requirements. 

Electrical wiring was pulled prior to install to allow us to fish those wires through our thoughtfully designed bench sections and install outlets on their faces. The central bench section has a cavity in the bottom portion which has been fitted with a HVAC vent (not shown in photos).
