What is finish carpentry?

Rough carpentry is the framing you never see: walls, floors and roof structure. Finish carpentry is everything that goes on after the drywall — the trim, doors, built-ins and stair parts you see and touch every day. It's the detail work that makes a house look finished.

Dollard Construction Services is a one-person finish carpentry shop based in Arvada. I give the estimate, do the work and walk the finished job with you, whether it's one room of baseboard or a whole-house trim package for a general contractor.

Baseboard, door casing, window trim, and crown molding — measured, cut and installed by me, Andy, from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.

Built-ins and Entertainment Walls

Built-ins designed around your space, built in my Arvada shop and installed so they look like they came with the house.
