Finish work for Montgomery's larger homes
Montgomery Township, including Skillman (my home town) and Belle Mead, sits just north of Princeton. A lot of its homes are larger colonials from the 1990s and 2000s with two-story foyers, formal dining rooms, home offices and open family rooms, mixed in with older farmhouses.
Those houses have good bones and big rooms, which makes them a great fit for detailed finish work: coffered ceilings, wainscoting in the dining room, a built-in desk and shelving wall for a home office, or a stair upgrade from painted wood balusters to iron.
I come out, measure, and give you a written estimate. Then I do the work myself and walk it with you when it's done. No crew rotating through, and no project manager in the middle.
What I do in Montgomery:

Questions from Montgomery homeowners
Can you add a coffered ceiling to an existing room?
Yes. I lay out the grid to the room and the lighting, and build the beams so the ceiling isn't overloaded. Coffers look best with ceilings around 9 feet or higher; on lower ceilings I'll suggest a shallower design.
Can you switch my stair balusters from wood to iron?
Yes. I replace the balusters and, if needed, the handrail and newels, and keep the spacing to code.
Can you design a built-in for my home office?
Yes. I'll measure the room, sketch options around how you work, and build it to fit the space instead of a stock cabinet size.
How soon can you start?
I start New Jersey jobs on December 10, 2026. You can request an estimate now, and I'll get on your calendar for a site visit as soon as I'm in town.
